 How to Become a Volunteer

Animal Outreach is always looking for compassionate, dedicated volunteers to join our mission. Getting started is simple:

  1. Complete the Orientation
Begin with our self-paced Volunteer Orientation PowerPoint to learn about our work, values, and expectations.
  2. Take a Short Assessment
After finishing the orientation, you’ll complete an brief assessment to review what you’ve learned. The link to the quiz is on the last page of the self-paced orientation
  3. Submit & Receive Your Application
Once you submit your assessment, our volunteer coordinators will send you the correct answers to the assessment along with a link to your official volunteer application.
  4. Get Connected & Start Training
After your application is completed, we’ll connect you with the appropriate team members who will guide your training and help schedule your volunteer activities.
