Adoption Specialists are on-call volunteers who help facilitate cat adoptions. When the Adoption Coordinator receives an appointment request from the public, available Adoption Specialists assist with meet-and-greets and help guide potential adopters through the adoption process.
Adoption Specialists are also needed for our weekly weekend adoption events at our three adoption locations:
Volunteers commit to a regular morning and/or afternoon shift at one of our Adoption Centers to help care for adoptable kittens and cats. Duties include cleaning cages, refilling food and water, and socializing the cats to help them prepare for adoption.
Fundraising Committee Volunteers help plan and support fundraising activities that benefit Animal Outreach and the animals we serve.
