Many of the issues owners face with their pets can be resolved and we’d like to help you with that if possible.
Before surrendering your pet, visit Petfinder.com
It is a go-to resource for information that can help you keep
your pet as an important member of the family.
You can also try to re-home your pet using Rehome by Adopt-a-Pet.com and The Petco Foundation, a free service for pet owners that guides you through the rehoming process.
If you don’t find the information you need on how to help your pet fit into your life or re-homing, contact us and we’ll help you consider your options.
Make sure you checked our hours of operations and any events or holidays before coming to the main facility.
Please understand that we are limited in the number of cats & kittens that can be housed in our care.
We may require you to go on our wait-list for surrender, in which you would be contacted by us when an opening is available.
Animal Outreach does ask for a Donation to help with covering the cost of care and services, the new animal will need before it gets adopted. We know this can be difficult for some people and want you to be aware.
You will be required to fill out a surrender form and sign, acknowledging that you are the owner or agent and are releasing the animal in to our care.
Sometimes life happens & we are left needing to re-home our loved pets. If you have found yourself in that situation, Rehome might be a good resource for you. Rehome by Adopt a Pet allows you to create & edit your pet's profile, review adopter applications, meet potential adopters & also has a transfer of ownership template you can use when you find the right home!
