Join our Board of Directors!

Animal Outreach is in search of passionate animal lovers with business experience to join our Board of Director. As an active board member, you will assist  Animal Outreach create the strategies and plans needed to meet its goals and help the organization be one of the premier animal shelters in El Dorado County. 

Board members are expected to: 

• Be a resident of El Dorado, Sacramento or Placer County.
• Have past experience in a business that defined and managed its own budgets.
• Be willing to devote 1-2 or more hours per week to the organization. 
• Commit to a three-year term with an option to renew for one additional term. 
• Actively participate in strategic planning and be an active and participating member on at least one committee.
• Attend at least 4 full board meetings per year plus appropriate committee meetings, typically Teams.
• Adhere to Animal Outreach's code of conduct.
• Publicly support the work of Animal Outreach in the Community.
